Rainy Mondays ....
Ah ... rainy days are meant for curling up and being creative! (I think I am sounding a little bit like my friend C) I found these beads at a show from Lisa Beaman of Charlotte, NC. Her work is really wonderful and I love the fall colors. Browns, blues, red, yellow and greens. Just perfect for this one day in August that we will be at 70 degrees.

Life has been a little crazy lately so I am a little late in posting new photos as I said I would. Baseball and dance are over for now for the kids, but we are into swimming, tennis and camps for the summer!
I got very inspired this last month when I attended the Art & Soul retreat in Hampton, VA http://artandsoulretreat.com and took two GREAT metals classes so look for new pieces coming in the next couple of months and especially for the fall and holiday season.
Don't forget to check out the website http://sissyandjacks.etsy.com, and for the month of June I am giving an additional 10% any purchase. Just enter "June10" in the Notes to Seller at checkout. And as always you can see what's up on my facebook page and add yourself to Sissy & Jack's Fan page. Thanks to everyone that has supported me and those of you that have inspired me! Till next time .......

Snow Day!!
Woohoo ... what a day!! There is nothing better than a snow day, no school, hot chocolate and in our house yesterday, s'mores along with a pot of soup (you have to have something healthy).
The kids were in and out many times to change clothes and get warm, then it was back out to make snowballs and go sledding. We did take a break to all sit down as a family and watch history being made and watch the inauguration.
We have another snow day today from school, but I do need to get some work done in the office!! We will see what happens ......

Things are finally getting back to normal after the holidays. Though I have a husband home with the flu and our dog Brenna rec'd a lovely party hat that she must wear for a week this morning from our vet. Ever try going up the stairs with one of those on before?!
I took a great class this weekend to hone in on my soldering skills, so look for new jewelry pieces that will include charms with lots of different themes. Maybe add pictures of your children to a bracelet or necklace. Check back to see what I have done ......
